1. Scope of This Policy

This Privacy Policy applies to the website located at bpzconstruction.lat and to every subdomain, landing page, contact form, email address and downloadable document that the company publishes in connection with that website. It covers the personal information that the company receives from visitors, prospective clients, current clients, trade partners and anyone who contacts the desk by phone, email or written note.

The policy does not apply to websites that are operated by other companies, even when those websites are reached through a link on this site. It also does not apply to paper records that predate the website or to information that the company holds about employees and job applicants under separate internal policies. Where a written construction contract sets out stricter confidentiality terms, those terms govern the project records described in that contract.

The company treats the privacy of project data with the same care as the privacy of personal data. Drawings, site photographs, equipment schedules and building system layouts can reveal sensitive operational details about a client business. For that reason the company applies the safeguards described in this policy to project records as well as to ordinary contact details.

2. Who Controls the Data

The data controller for this website is BPZ CONSTRUCTION GENERAL LLC. The company decides why information is collected and how it is handled. The registered address for privacy correspondence is BPZ CONSTRUCTION GENERAL LLC, 4236 W 3150 S APT 71A, West Valley City - 84120-1921, United States (US).

The company is a small technical firm, and the same people who answer project inquiries also handle privacy questions. There is no separate call center and no outsourced intake desk. A message sent to the privacy address reaches a member of the company team who can look up the relevant project record and respond with specifics rather than a generic script.

Where the company acts as a service provider to another business, for example when a property manager engages the company to coordinate work inside a leased suite, the property manager may remain the controller of certain building records. In those situations the company processes the relevant records only on documented instructions and refers privacy requests to the controller when the controller is the appropriate party to answer.

3. Information We Collect

The company collects information in several categories. The categories below describe what is collected in ordinary operation, not what is collected in every single interaction. A visitor who only reads a page discloses far less than a client who signs a construction contract.

Contact and identity details

The company collects the name, email address, phone number, company name, job title and mailing address that a person provides through the contact form, by email, by phone or in person. When a client signs a contract, the company also collects billing details, insurance certificates and the signatures required to administer the project.

Project information

Project information includes site addresses, building descriptions, drawings, photographs, schedules, budgets, change requests, inspection notes and correspondence about the work. This category can include information about tenants, occupants and neighboring properties when that information is needed to plan access, phasing or safety measures.

Technical information

The web server records standard technical information when a page is requested. This includes the internet protocol address, the browser type and version, the operating system, the referring page, the pages visited and the date and time of the request. The company uses this information to keep the site available, diagnose faults and understand which pages are useful.

Communication records

The company retains copies of emails, text messages, voicemail notes, meeting minutes and written instructions that relate to a project or to a privacy request. These records protect both the client and the company when scope or timing is later questioned.

Payment and accounting details

Invoices, payment confirmations, tax identifiers and bank reference numbers are collected as required for accounting and tax compliance. The company does not store full payment card numbers in its website systems. Card payments, where offered, are handled by a payment processor under its own security program.

4. How We Obtain Information

Most information arrives directly from the person who provides it. A visitor fills in the contact form, sends an email to the address printed on the site, places a phone call to the number listed on every page or hands over a business card at a site meeting.

Some information arrives indirectly. A property manager may pass along the name of a tenant contact so that access can be arranged. An architect may share a drawing set that includes contact details in the title block. An inspector may issue a report that names the people present on site. A trade partner may submit a certificate of insurance that lists officers and addresses.

A small amount of information is generated automatically by the web server and by the measurement tools described later in this policy. The company does not buy personal information from data brokers and does not enrich contact records with profiles assembled by third parties. If a record comes from an unusual source, the company notes the source in the project file so that the origin of the information is never a mystery.

5. Why We Use Information

The company uses personal information to answer inquiries, prepare proposals, survey sites, price work, obtain permits, schedule trades, supervise construction, issue invoices and close out projects. Each of these activities requires accurate contact and project details, and none of them can be performed reliably with anonymous data.

Information is also used to keep the website secure and functional, to respond to privacy requests, to maintain accounting and tax records and to meet insurance and licensing obligations. Where a person has asked to receive project updates or seasonal notices, information is used to send those messages until the person asks to stop.

The company does not use personal information to make automated decisions that produce legal or similarly significant effects. Pricing and scheduling decisions are made by people who review the project facts. The company does not use project photographs to train external image models, and it does not license site photographs to marketing platforms.

6. Legal Bases for Processing

Where data protection law requires a legal basis, the company relies on one or more of the following grounds. Performance of a contract applies when information is needed to prepare or carry out construction work. Legitimate interests apply when the company answers an inquiry, secures the site, prevents fraud or improves the usefulness of the website, provided those interests are not outweighed by the rights of the individual.

Consent applies where the company asks for permission, for example before sending a newsletter or before publishing a client photograph in a portfolio. Consent can be withdrawn at any time, and withdrawal does not affect processing that happened before the withdrawal. Legal obligation applies to tax records, insurance records, permit files and responses to lawful requests from public authorities.

Where the company processes information about a tenant or occupant who is not the contracting client, it relies on the legitimate interests of the building owner and the contractor in completing safe, lawful work, together with any instructions supplied by the property manager. The company limits that processing to the details needed for access, safety and communication.

7. Cookies and Similar Tools

This website is built as a set of static pages. It does not require a login, does not run a shopping cart and does not create a user profile. The pages may set a small number of technical cookies or use local storage for basic functions such as remembering that a mobile menu was opened. These items do not identify a person by name.

If measurement tools are added in the future, the company will describe them in this section and will provide a way to decline non essential cookies where the law requires a choice. The company does not sell advertising space on this website and does not operate a cross site advertising network.

A visitor can block or delete cookies through browser settings. Blocking every cookie may affect the display of some interactive elements, but the written content of every page remains available. The company does not use cookies to infer sensitive characteristics or to build advertising audiences.

8. Measurement and Site Diagnostics

The company reviews aggregate traffic reports to understand which service pages are read and which contact paths are used. The reports show counts and page names rather than individual identities. When a diagnostic tool records a technical error, the company reviews the error message and the page address to repair the fault.

Server logs are kept for a limited period and are restricted to the people who maintain the website. Log data is not combined with contact records to build a behavioral profile. If the company engages a measurement provider, the provider is bound by a written agreement that limits its use of the data to the service it provides.

The company may publish summary figures about site usage, such as the number of inquiries received in a season. Those figures are aggregated and do not identify any person or project.

9. Sharing With Service Providers

The company shares information with service providers that perform specific functions. These providers include the web host, the email provider, the accounting platform and the payment processor. Each provider receives only the information needed for its function and is expected to protect it under a written agreement.

The company does not sell personal information. It does not rent contact lists and does not trade client details for marketing purposes. Information is shared with professional advisers such as accountants and insurance brokers only when the adviser needs it to perform a service for the company.

If the company is involved in a merger, acquisition or transfer of assets, information may be transferred as part of that transaction. In that event the company will require the receiving party to honor this policy or to provide a policy that offers comparable protection, and affected individuals will be notified where the law requires notice.

10. Trade Partners and Project Teams

Construction depends on coordination, so certain project details are shared with trade partners, inspectors, engineers and design professionals. The company shares the minimum needed for each party to perform its work. A framing crew receives the framing drawings and the site access instructions. An inspector receives the permit number and the inspection schedule. An engineer receives the structural details relevant to a review.

When a client has a confidentiality concern, the company can limit the distribution of drawings, use a controlled document platform and require signed confidentiality terms from trade partners. The company marks drawings as project specific and does not reuse client drawings in other work.

The company may mention a completed project in a general description of its experience. Before publishing a client name, a photograph or a floor plan, the company obtains permission from the client and removes details that could reveal security systems or operational layouts.

11. International Data Transfers

The company operates from the United States, and the primary records are stored in the United States. Some service providers may store backups in other countries. Where information moves across a border, the company uses contractual safeguards and selects providers that publish clear security commitments.

Visitors who contact the company from another country should understand that their message will be processed in the United States under United States law. The company will answer questions about the location of a specific record on request.

The company does not route project drawings through consumer file sharing accounts and does not send sensitive project documents to personal email addresses outside the company.

12. Retention of Records

Records are kept for as long as they are needed for the purpose for which they were collected, plus the period required by law or by the company insurance program. Contact inquiries that do not lead to a project are generally removed after two years. Project files are kept for the longer of ten years after substantial completion or the period required by the applicable statute of repose.

Accounting records are kept for at least seven years. Insurance certificates and safety records are kept for the period recommended by the insurer. Website server logs are kept for a short operational window, usually measured in weeks, so that faults can be diagnosed without building a long term browsing archive.

When a retention period ends, records are deleted or destroyed in a secure manner. Paper files are shredded, and digital files are removed from active systems and from backups according to the backup rotation schedule.

13. How We Protect Information

The company uses access controls, encrypted connections, strong passwords, multi factor authentication for administrative accounts and routine software updates. Access to project files is limited to the people who need the files for their work. Administrative accounts are reviewed when a person leaves the company.

Physical records are stored in locked cabinets at the company office. Site documents are kept in a controlled area and are collected at the end of each work day. Devices that hold project data are encrypted and are protected by screen locks.

No system is perfectly secure. If a security incident affects personal information, the company will investigate promptly, contain the incident, notify affected people and regulators where the law requires notice and take steps to prevent a repeat. The company will not delay notice in order to complete a marketing review.

14. Your Privacy Rights

Depending on where a person lives, the law may provide the right to know what personal information is held, the right to obtain a copy, the right to correct an error, the right to delete certain records, the right to limit the use of sensitive information and the right to opt out of sale or sharing. The company does not sell personal information, so the opt out right is satisfied by that practice.

A request should describe the information sought and include enough detail to locate the record, such as a project address, an email address or a phone number. The company may ask for verification before releasing information. An authorized agent may submit a request with written permission from the individual.

The company will not discriminate against a person for exercising a privacy right. A person who asks for deletion of a record that the company must keep for tax, insurance or safety reasons will be told which records must remain and why.

15. Submitting an Access Request

Requests can be sent by email to contact@bpzconstruction.lat with the words privacy request in the subject line. A request can also be mailed to BPZ CONSTRUCTION GENERAL LLC, 4236 W 3150 S APT 71A, West Valley City - 84120-1921, United States (US), or made by phone at +12245960723.

The company acknowledges a request within ten business days and aims to complete a substantive response within forty five calendar days. If a request is complex, the company will explain the reason for an extension and provide a new completion date. There is no fee for a first request, although a reasonable fee may apply for additional copies where the law permits.

If a request is refused, the response will state the reason and the available path to appeal or to contact a supervisory authority. The company keeps a record of privacy requests and responses so that the process can be audited.

16. Privacy for Children

This website is intended for adults who are planning construction work. It is not directed to children, and the company does not knowingly collect personal information from a child under the age of thirteen. The contact form and the project inquiry process are designed for business and property contacts.

If a parent or guardian believes that a child has submitted information through this website, the parent or guardian should contact the company using the details in this policy. The company will review the record and delete it if the information was submitted by a child without appropriate involvement of a parent or guardian.

Site visits are sometimes part of a family or community event, and a photograph taken at such an event may include a child in the background. The company avoids publishing photographs that show identifiable children and removes any such image when asked to do so.

17. Messages and Marketing Choices

The company sends project emails to clients and trade partners as part of normal administration. These messages are not marketing and continue for the life of the project. A separate seasonal note or a portfolio update is sent only to people who asked to receive it.

Every marketing message includes a way to stop future messages. A request to stop is honored within ten business days, and the contact record is marked so that the preference survives future system changes. Transactional messages about an active project are not affected by a marketing opt out.

The company does not send text message marketing and does not add a person to a messaging list because that person attended a site meeting. Permission is asked separately and recorded with the date and the channel.

18. Links to Other Websites

This website may link to a mapping service, a permit portal or a professional organization. Those websites are governed by their own privacy policies. The company does not control their content or their data practices and encourages visitors to read the relevant policy before submitting information.

A link on this website does not imply that the company endorses every practice of the linked organization. If a linked page becomes unavailable or points to unexpected content, the company welcomes a note so that the link can be reviewed and corrected.

19. Changes to This Policy

The company reviews this policy at least once a year and whenever a new tool, provider or service line changes how information is handled. The effective date at the top of the page shows when the current version took effect. Material changes will be announced on the homepage for a reasonable period.

Where a change affects an active client in a way that requires consent, the company will request consent before applying the change to that client. Continuing to use the website after a revised policy takes effect indicates acceptance of the revised terms for future interactions.

Previous versions are kept in the company records so that the history of the policy can be traced. A copy of a prior version can be requested through the contact details below.

20. Contacting the Company

Questions about this Privacy Policy, a privacy request or a suspected security issue can be directed to the company by email, phone or mail. The company prefers email for requests that include attachments and prefers phone for urgent site safety matters.
